Kaiteri Batch Driveway

CJ Industries facilitated the design and construction of a new driveway in Kaiteriteri, Tasman Bay. This was a high-profile job requiring a very high standard of finishing.  This job also had factors such as a strict timeline and work on challenging slopes for five different stake holders.   Once the design was finalised and approval was granted by all parties, CJ Industries set to work completing the earth works, installing drainage and kerb and channelling.  The surfaces were then prepared  and finished in asphalt and exposed aggregate concrete.  The finished article is outstanding.

The scope of job included:

  • Design of drainage, asphalt and concrete surfaces
  • Facilitating an agreement between 5 stake holders
  • Earth works and preparation for kerb and channel
  • Construction of drainage
  • Lay 120m of kerb and channel
  • Prep and pour 480 M2 of exposed aggregate concrete
  • Prep and lay 220 M2 of Asphalt
  • Levelling topsoil and grass seeding
  • Constructing a rock swale drain
