Motueka NW Water Reticulation
CJ Industries were appointed as the Head Contractor for this TDC contract C1130 to install reticulated water in the North- Western area of Motueka. This was a comprehensive job involving multiple crews, managing traffic, excavation of trenching, installing and testing reticulation, testing and quality control of water systems and reinstatement of the road.
The scope included:
– GPS set-out and machine control
– Excavation of trenches
– Traffic management
– Liaison with TDC, quality assurance technicians and engineers
– Communication with the residents to keep them informed as to what was going on and minimise disruption
– Installation of pressure pipe, valves and meter boxes
– Connection to existing council systems
– Reinstatement of Asphalt, 2 Coat chip seal and concrete to road and footpaths
